THE POWER OF PAINT
The Embrun House
The Embrun house was a project with very little budget and a property that was hitting the market in a matter of weeks. The solution, to paint as much of the house as possible in a short time frame! It's amazing the transformation that comes with the change of a paint colour!
Powder room before.........

After........

The only thing (other than accessories and a painting) changed in this room was paint! I painted the mirror, trim and walls Benjamin Moore, Oxford White. The vanity is Annie Sloan Napoleonic Blue.
Kitchen before....

After.....

Only one change was made, paint! I used Annie Sloan colour Pure to brighten and update the dark and dated kitchen.
Entrance Before....

After....

In the entrance there were a few accent changes but the main change was paint! In the first before picture I had already started painting the trim above the door and the walls (sometimes it's the before pic that fails, I just want to get at i!) I painted the risers & spindles on he staircase , the trim and walls all in Benjamin Moore's Oxford White. #powerofpaint
Laundry room Before......

After.....

In the laundry room I didn't touch the walls, all that I changed were the cabinet colour and trim colour! #powerofpaint
Dining room Before......

After....

In the Dining room I painted a chalk board on one entire wall and Oxford White on the walls & trim. The dining table had originally been in the same room as the kitchen which I turned into a family space. The main change was relocating the chandelier to the new designated dining space. This room which is off the kitchen had originally housed a desk and piano and felt like it had no real purpose.
